What is Love Your Place?

Every community has challenges, but real change often starts at home.

Love Your Place is a community-led programme that helps people imagine a better future and create solutions for their local area.

It brings residents, businesses and partners together to explore ideas, set priorities and plan practical steps.

The goal is simple: make lasting, community-driven improvements that truly matter.

What is Love Your Place?

How it works

Love Your Place turns ideas into action, connecting communities with industry through a structured innovation process.

Programme support

After the Getting Ready phase, project teams will join monthly check-ins with a design coach.

"The Love Your Place programme made me really think about what people actually want, rather than an idea that I thought people wanted. It made me realise that research and talking to people is so important. The aim of our project changed as we began to understand what the actual problem was".
