Challenge Summary
Schools in Hampshire receive many different topic materials, and chalkstream‑related resources vary widely in quality and completeness. This challenge aims to produce standardised chalkstream topic packs that can be used across primary and secondary curricula.
The focus includes:
- Providing one clear message for schools about their chalkstream environment
- Ensuring materials work across primary and secondary levels
- Building on what the Rivers Trust already produces, while addressing gaps and lack of Hampshire‑wide coverage
- Offering a coherent resource without mandating use
