Professorial Fellow: Place based Innovation
Clint’s senior level industrial, academic commercialisation, ‘place’ and strategic engagement experience allows him to bring different perspectives and operate at the nexus of technology, innovation, business and key stakeholders to drive socio-economic Impact. His passion is to create nurturing & empowering ‘environments’ for people and entities to flourish within, by building supportive & connected ‘ecosystem enablers’. Previous roles he has held at Southampton include Faculty Associate Dean Enterprise, Founder/Director of the Enterprise Unit nC2, and Co-founder/Managing Director of the Future Towns Innovation Hub. He is currently undertaking an internal sabbatical: Blueprint for a (self-fuelled) Knowledge Exchange & Enterprise Engine to drive sustained & meaningful socio-economic Impact that pays back to the University of Southampton: Surplus, Reputational enhancement and Value (I-SRV Metrics).
