NED Intelligent Merchant Cities

Brett has worked with Fawley Waterside to create the Intelligent Merchant City. He was part of the United Cities Group; a UN funded program of Global City collaborators and spoke of his work in Heidelberg to city leaders in 2019, with the then Deputy Director General UN-Europe, Micahel Moller. His work acknowledges the absolute need for collaboration between the private sector, government academia and the third sector. At the same Brett believes a city can only be truly susutainable if developed from below ground up and infrastructure, must be wholly considered before a "brick or CLT panel," is laid. A place where the needs of a community must be considered for  example, transport acccess, hospitals and healthcare and schools. Cities are a holistic organism.
