I am the Head of the Transportation Research Group at the University of Southampton.

I have about 30 years experience in the analysis and modelling of transport systems, seeking to understand how the component parts of the transport system, infrastructure, vehicles and travellers interact to impact on efficiency, safety and sustainability. This frequently involves everything from pure psychology and statistics, to artificial intelligence and virtual reality techniques.

But I am also happy to talk about any other aspects of transport (and transport related) systems or issues on behalf of the wider research group!
