Building on our successful event in the summer, in which we focused on co-production and collaboration and received a great amount of input from the network, this session will focus on building a roadmap for collective action:
- What can we achieve in the next six months with minimal funding?
- What will take longer and require more resources?
- How can we work together to explore funding opportunities?
This event will focus on taking forward the six themes and priorities that emerged from our previous event:
- Data Monitoring and Citizen Science
Exploring how community-driven data collection can enhance water quality monitoring and inform decision-making. - Tackling Emerging Pollutants
Addressing the growing challenge of pollutants and identifying practical steps for mitigation. - Integrated Catchment Management
Looking at holistic approaches to managing water resources across entire catchments. - From Monitoring to Action
Making Data Count. Turning insights into tangible actions that drive measurable improvements. - Water Demand, Access and Efficiency
Strategies for balancing supply and demand while improving efficiency and accessibility. - Planning & Road Run-Off
Understanding the impact of urban planning and road infrastructure on water systems.
We’re thrilled to welcome Shaun Stevens from EPS Water, Chair of the Business South Energy and Utilities Action Group. Shaun will share insights from a State of the Region paper on water in the Central South, focusing on infrastructure and its impact on business and the economy.
There will also be time for networking and informal discussions, so come ready to share ideas and connect with peers across the sector.
